It was actually Smitty Smith on drums with Dave Carpenter on bass. Good show. T-Bo, Steve, Derek and myself went. During the show Virgil Donati came and watched too.
Mucho fun

Yeah, good times. Good meeting Randy. It took us a while to get good seats, because Randy and Derek kept wanting to move , but other than that it was a blast.
Smitty has some sick chops. He was a little loose at times (not really coming out exactly on "one") but overall very cool. They ended the first set with Stone Temple Pilots' "Vaseline," which was pretty bitchin. Virgil showed up and chilled with Steve, and Derek got drunk and got in a fight with the waitress. Derek D. is an animal! When he started break-dancing in the street, I thought we were sure to be arrested.

LMAO
You are giving away all the secrets of the night master!
What hump?
Smitty was using the new BUZ cymbals which sounded killer. The 6" splash he had was so smooth.
Derek breakdancing was only part of it, the hookers that were all over us was the part that should have had us in jail for soliciting. They thought Derek was the sh** dancing in the middle of the street.
